At home with Carlijn & Niels
A little one was born in Egmond aan den Hoef! Carlijn (25) and Niels (27) have been proud parents of baby Noud for four weeks now. They fully enjoy their own family cocoon.
"We wondered if we would have enough time for each other."
Carlijn: 'We see how friends sometimes play around with combining everything. On the one hand, I'm already looking forward to working out again, or drinking that first glass of wine with friends. But at the moment I would prefer to stay in our nice, cozy house with Niels and Noud.'
Carlijn continues: 'We live near the sea, so I like to walk on the beach with Noud to rebuild my fitness. It is still a bit of a puzzle what you should take with you when suddenly such a little one goes on the road.'

“Four weeks ago, of course, our lives were turned upside down. Before Noud was there, we fantasized a lot about what it would be like, but when it really does come…', says the new mother Carlijn, while her son is sleeping peacefully in her arms. Indescribably beautiful and special.

’ Immediately it was impossible to imagine life without Noud. As if he's always been there. We have rented a co-sleeper, so that he sleeps close to us.
