A mosquito net in the nursery:
But how do you assemble it?
A mosquito net in the nursery not only looks beautiful, but also provides your little one with peace and comfort. This way, your baby can drift off to sleep wonderfully in their own cozy little spot. But how do you mount such a mosquito net so that it is safe for your child? Don't worry, we'll walk you through it step by step!
How do you hang up a mosquito net?
Our Meyco baby mosquito nets have a loop at the top, which makes them easy to hang. This can be done in two ways: with a hook on the ceiling or with a pole next to the bed. The hook is ideal if you have a fixed spot for the baby's cot and want to hang the veil in the same place all the time. The pole is convenient if you want flexibility and want to be able to move the veil easily.
Hook on the ceiling
The most common way to hang up a mosquito net is with a nice wire or rope and a hook on the ceiling. You can use a screw hook for this.
Pole for a canopy
Another way to hang up a canopy is with a pole. The advantage of a pole is that it is easy to move. The downside is that not every stand is equally stable. So be mindful of that when purchasing one. After all, you don't want the canopy to fall on your baby in the crib.
How do you hang a mobile in a canopy?
A frequently asked question is how to attach a mobile or hanger to the canopy. There are a few ways to do this as well. If you are a bit handy, you can attach it to the inside of the canopy using a needle and thread. But a much easier solution is to use a clip. You then clip the top of a music mobile or hanger to the ring of the mosquito net.
